Responsibilities
- Test software in a cooperative group environment using modern techniques.
- Verify software deliverables meet functionality and performance requirements.
- Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and reports.
- Perform formal customer-witnessed acceptance tests.
- Develop and execute front-end/UI and back-end tests, both manual and automated.
- Communicate daily with program leadership and development teams.
- Mentor junior-level test personnel on test setup and execution.
- Occasionally travel for short-term assignments.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of relevant software testing experience.
- Quick learner, adaptable to new technologies, and self-directed.
- Competency in interpreting and refining functional software requirements.
- Proficiency with both Windows and Linux systems.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Experience leading customer-witnessed acceptance testing.
- Familiarity with version control systems and bug tracking tools.
- Experience with TCP/IP networking and network packet capture analysis.
