Base Salary
$168k - $285k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build full-stack internal applications and tools for operations teams.
- Develop scalable, reliable, and performant backend services and APIs.
- Build integrations with Retool, Zendesk, and other operational systems.
- Use AI tooling and capabilities to automate workflows and improve operator productivity and decision-making.
- Create data-driven features and analytics for operational insights.
- Collaborate with operations stakeholders to gather requirements and iterate on solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code; participate in code reviews and mentor team members.
- Own features from design through deployment, monitoring, and user-feedback-driven iteration.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for critical issues affecting internal users.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience building and shipping production applications.
- Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript/Node.js, or similar modern programming languages.
- Experience building full-stack applications with React, Next.js, or similar frontend frameworks.
- Understanding of backend architecture, API design, and database systems such as PostgreSQL and Redis.
- Experience integrating LLMs, building AI-powered features, or applying AI to business problems.
- Experience building internal tools or working closely with non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong product sense, user empathy, communication skills, ownership, and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Familiarity with AWS and modern DevOps practices.
- Experience with Retool, Zendesk, or similar internal tooling platforms is preferred.
