Responsibilities
- Develop software requirements based on customer requirements.
- Contribute to module design and implement code according to the design.
- Understand and port CarPlay, Android Auto, and media stacks on Linux- and Android-based automotive platforms.
- Work across Linux- and Android-based systems.
- Understand Android Auto and CarPlay certification requirements.
- Troubleshoot runtime-environment issues and perform debugging.
Requirements
- 2–15 years of experience in embedded systems development.
- Strong hands-on experience with middleware solution development, operating-system concepts, POSIX systems and internals, and multithreaded programming.
- Proficiency in C and C++ programming.
- Working knowledge of Android Auto, CarPlay, and media-player frameworks on Android or Linux.
- Java and JNI programming experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Git, SVN, and Jira.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, and interpersonal skills.
