Responsibilities
- Design governed data products using SAP BTP Datasphere Spaces, shareable models, and views.
- Build semantic models suitable for analytics and AI consumption, including clear entities, measures, hierarchies, and lineage-friendly designs.
- Create grounded LLM experiences over Datasphere models and enterprise sources using retrieval strategies that respect access controls, domain boundaries, and freshness requirements.
- Support hybrid modernization and migration using SAP BW models, Datasphere, and BW bridge patterns.
- Implement layered Bronze/Silver/Gold architectures with data cleansing, validation, analytics-ready models, and reproducible transformations.
- Build data agents that plan, call query, metadata, and lineage tools, retrieve context, and generate cited answers with deterministic checks and fallback behaviors.
- Implement prompt templates, tool schemas, safe action boundaries, evaluation loops, regression suites, behavior tests, and AI telemetry.
- Partner with business, governance, and platform teams to align data products with operational workflows and develop reusable delivery patterns.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Must-have expertise in SAP BTP Datasphere, including data modeling, Spaces, sharing patterns, and enterprise semantic design.
- Strong data warehousing fundamentals and ability to translate business domains into governed analytical models.
- Hands-on experience building with LLMs and retrieval-augmented generation, including retrieval, grounding, prompt and tool design, and evaluation.
- Solid software engineering fundamentals, including testability and reliable integrations.
- Experience with or strong knowledge of SAP BW bridge-style migration and modernization patterns is beneficial.
- Familiarity with layered Bronze/Silver/Gold architectures, vector search, and embedding pipelines is beneficial.
