Responsibilities
- Support and enhance Secure Web Gateway, Browser Isolation, DNS Security, SSE, and SASE platforms.
- Onboard cloud and on-premises applications into Secure Internet Services while meeting security, resiliency, and business requirements.
- Troubleshoot complex cloud, infrastructure, networking, and security issues affecting critical enterprise services.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement improvements to strengthen reliability and reduce operational risk.
- Contribute to vulnerability remediation, security control implementation, and risk reduction initiatives.
- Design, engineer, automate, and support cloud-based internet security services using infrastructure as code and CI/CD practices.
- Partner with Cloud, Security, Infrastructure, Network, Architecture, and Engineering teams, as well as vendors and stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, maintain technical documentation and runbooks, and contribute to engineering excellence initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven enterprise experience in Cloud, Platform, Infrastructure, DevOps, or Security Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP, including cloud networking, security, and platform services.
- Strong understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, routing, load balancing, VPNs, TLS/SSL, proxies, and firewalls.
- Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.
- Strong automation and scripting skills using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or equivalent languages.
- Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar platforms.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of IAM/RBAC, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and secrets management.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex cloud, infrastructure, networking, and security issues and manage production incidents, changes, risks, and service improvements.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, collaboration, mentoring, and technical leadership skills.
- Experience with Zscaler, Menlo Security, SWG, SSE, SASE, or similar internet security technologies is advantageous.
- AWS, GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes, Security, or Zscaler certifications and application-onboarding experience are desirable.
