Responsibilities
- Act as an escalation point for cloud and CI/CD issues and provide expertise on AWS standards and best practices.
- Own and operate the infrastructure platform supporting Collinson’s services, emphasizing security, resilience, monitoring, alerting, and developer experience.
- Design and implement automated development pipelines and contribute to solution architecture.
- Perform root cause analysis for incidents and performance or availability issues, and proactively resolve known errors.
- Support complex upgrades, installations, releases, vendor product evaluation, and translation of business requirements into stable technical solutions.
- Recommend improvements to IT processes and operational support and participate in the required on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Experience building, deploying, and maintaining large-scale, high-performance systems.
- Knowledge of AWS and, ideally, AWS certification.
- Understanding of Git, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, and Windows Server.
- Scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Awareness of PCI and ISO27001 requirements and their impact on infrastructure, networks, and application design.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools, ideally AppDynamics and Datadog.
- Working knowledge of DNS, firewall configuration, WAF, and load balancing.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate across technical and non-technical teams, and communicate effectively.
