Responsibilities

Design and implement 'Secure Defaults' for the Adyen platform.
Lead complex technical projects like platform-wide cryptographic standardization.
Identify and improve parts of the high-concurrency platform for robustness and scalability.
Collaborate with global security experts and product developers to automate security requirements.
Manage projects from inception through implementation and ensure active adoption across engineering teams.

3-8 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer with strong Java skills.
Demonstrable passion for security and understanding of security basics.
Familiarity with complex, large-scale distributed systems.
Ability to collaborate and maintain a healthy skepticism in technical discussions.
Strong sense of autonomy and responsibility in driving projects forward.
