Responsibilities
- Add features and improvements to client products with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with developers to design and create functional APIs.
- Translate client requirements into conceptual and technical designs and lead teams to meet requirements.
- Develop secure, well-tested, and performant features.
- Collaborate with developers, engineers, DevOps, product owners, and managers to meet delivery and quality goals.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure team contributions receive timely responses.
- Solve technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
- Identify team impediments and implement solutions for technical debt.
- Mentor developers and help team members grow.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional work experience as a developer.
- Front-end, back-end, or full-stack development experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Java, Python, or PHP.
- In-depth knowledge of JavaScript frameworks or libraries such as Vue.js, Angular, or React.
- In-depth knowledge of MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or DynamoDB.
- In-depth knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.
- Understanding of scaling applications to handle high data traffic.
- Knowledge of DevOps and experience working in an Agile environment.
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
- Preferred: experience with mentoring developers, large-scale distributed database systems, storage farms, horizontally scaled request-processing fleets, and defining technical or business vision.
- Preferred: exceptional customer focus and the ability to identify requirements, recommend approaches, and lead engineering efforts under tight timelines.
