Responsibilities
- Own software solution architecture across multiple architecture categories and align solutions with enterprise and data architecture standards.
- Design, build, and maintain the integrity, quality, reliability, maintainability, compliance, and auditability of IS solutions and services.
- Consult on and support the installation of new IS solutions and services and changes to existing solutions.
- Approve, sign off, and build solutions for implementation in the ABB production environment while meeting quality and safety standards.
- Identify and eliminate recurring defects through IS problem and incident management.
- Define technical IS solutions and coordinate alignment with related modules and surrounding IS applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Information Technology, computer science, information science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum five years of related experience as a solution architect in SAP ABAP.
- Fluency in SAP ABAP development and familiarity with SAP Cloud Solutions and Architecture.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
- Understanding of interface technologies such as ALE, BizTalk, Gentran, and RFC.
- Experience with Microsoft .NET and C# is a plus.
- Knowledge of application development lifecycles, testing, implementation, systems administration, and post-implementation support.
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills, English fluency, self-learning ability, and strong collaboration skills.
- Understanding of project management methodologies is a plus.
