Responsibilities
- Architect and lead distributed compute platforms and application services.
- Develop clean, solid software and automate infrastructure and operational processes.
- Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to identify solutions.
- Test, deploy, troubleshoot, and debug system changes.
- Implement and correlate telemetry using monitoring and observability tools.
- Build and operate container orchestration systems.
- Document plans and solutions and participate in an on-call rotation.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science and 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Python, Rust, and/or Java.
- Experience with cloud compute environments such as OpenStack, AliCloud, AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with infrastructure as code, configuration management, CI/CD, and automation.
- Experience troubleshooting, problem solving, and debugging.
- Preferred: conversational and written English proficiency.
- Preferred: proficiency with Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Preferred: experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices.
- Preferred: experience in Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps.
- Preferred: excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred: experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems.
