Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver out-of-box ServiceNow HAM and SAM implementations, including asset lifecycle, software catalog, entitlement, and compliance processes.
- Configure stockrooms, transfer orders, inventory movement, asset assignment, maintenance, refresh, retirement, and disposal workflows.
- Govern hardware models, model categories, manufacturers, software models, normalization, discovery sources, and asset data quality.
- Align hardware asset records with CMDB configuration items and implement duplication, lifecycle, and data-quality controls.
- Build and maintain integrations with SAM, endpoint management, mobile device management, procurement, and other third-party applications.
- Develop JavaScript, AngularJS Service Portal widgets, REST/SOAP integrations, transform maps, and data migrations.
- Design ServiceNow data models and technical solutions, gather requirements, support releases and upgrades, and coordinate new technology deployments.
- Perform unit and regression testing, support user acceptance testing, and promote implemented code to production.
- Provide runbooks, documentation, stakeholder training, troubleshooting, and cross-functional coordination.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with proven specialization in ServiceNow ITAM implementation.
- At least 3 HAM/SAM implementations as a developer.
- Hands-on ServiceNow HAM and SAM configuration experience, including asset lifecycle, software catalog, entitlement tracking, normalization, and compliance reporting.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise systems, SAM tools, endpoint and mobile device management tools, procurement systems, and third-party applications.
- Proficiency with JavaScript, AngularJS, REST/SOAP APIs, Okta/SSO, transform maps, data migration, and client-side and server-side scripting.
- Understanding of CMDB, Discovery, asset management, integration technologies such as MFT/SFTP and batch processing, and enterprise application implementation.
- Experience designing client-facing solutions, defining technical solutions and data models, gathering business requirements, and supporting ServiceNow upgrades and releases.
- Experience with Tier-1 publishers such as Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Adobe, and IBM is required or relevant to SAM implementations.
- ServiceNow SAM Pro and HAM Pro certifications are preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive specialty experience in lieu of every year of education.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, adaptability, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
