Base Salary
$90k - $101k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and improve system and platform stability.
- Design and lead implementation of fault-tolerant platforms using redundancy, self-healing, and graceful degradation.
- Troubleshoot and debug software and production issues.
- Drive automation across infrastructure and operational workflows.
- Build and maintain observability dashboards.
- Reduce incidents and lead resolution of critical P1/P2 issues.
- Participate in off-hours and weekend on-call support for critical production issues.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience focused on reliability, infrastructure, and platform engineering.
- Proficiency in Java and its ecosystem, including Microservice Architecture.
- Basic understanding of MVC patterns, JDBC, and RESTful web services.
- Experience with web application frameworks.
- Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable Java code.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills with experience resolving production issues.
- Working knowledge of Azure.
- Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering principles and best practices.
- Availability to support off-hours and weekend on-call rotations.
