Responsibilities

  • Support monitoring, maintenance, and improvement of systems, services, and tools that enable software delivery and operations.
  • Assist with deploying new capabilities and enhancements while applying DevOps principles.
  • Develop, maintain, and automate tools and processes within an agile squad.
  • Contribute to continuous integration and continuous delivery initiatives.
  • Help build new solutions and migrate existing capabilities to modern technology platforms.
  • Automate processes and interfaces and contribute to infrastructure and operational standards.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to support system reliability and performance.
  • Prepare technical documentation and participate in knowledge-sharing and operational best-practice activities.
  • Learn about infrastructure, software development, operations, automation, and quality assurance disciplines.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in the second year or higher of a post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Must be a student registered at a Canadian college or university and returning to school after the work term or completing a required graduation placement.
  • Strong academic achievement and interest in technology and continuous learning.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, organizational, collaboration, and prioritization skills.
  • Experience or exposure to programming, automation, scripting, cloud computing, DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, or infrastructure automation is an asset.
  • Understanding of APIs, microservices, distributed systems, or agile team projects is an asset.
  • Must submit a resume and most recent unofficial transcript.
  • Must obtain Reliability Status Security Clearance as a condition of employment before accessing Protected B information, assets, or work sites.
