Responsibilities
- Lead development of platform infrastructure, define engineering best practices, and mentor peers.
- Design and develop high-performance, scalable platforms for processing large volumes of requests.
- Build scalable and reusable data processing pipelines for multi-terabyte datasets.
- Explore and implement cloud platform and data pipeline technologies in scale-up and scale-out environments.
- Drive automation and cloud operations readiness.
- Evaluate, analyze, and refine systems for quality, performance, and scalability.
- Work with teams, customers, and partners to understand requirements and derive application development concepts.
- Perform quality assurance tasks and resolve complex integration issues.
Requirements
- 7–11 years of experience as a software developer, preferably in AI-focused cloud or container application development.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, design patterns, multithreaded programming, and software design principles.
- Hands-on coding and debugging experience with Java, Go, and Python.
- Experience developing REST APIs with frameworks such as Spring, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Experience with DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies including Istio, Helm, etcd, Argo, and Envoy.
- Experience developing cloud-based applications using SAP Business Technology Platform, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Optional familiarity with LLMs, LangChain, and AIOps, plus interest in contributing to open-source projects.
