Base Salary
$87k - $198k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement, maintain, and support software development efforts to modernize systems.
- Develop back-end systems, custom tools, applications, sites, APIs, and integrations.
- Use Python and modern architectural approaches to create scalable, efficient solutions.
- Identify potential risks and solve complex technical and workflow problems through automation.
- Collaborate with development and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Write and enhance source code and support automated testing and system maintenance.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience implementing, maintaining, and supporting software development for system modernization.
- At least 5 years of software development experience using programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks.
- At least 3 years of Python programming experience.
- Experience solving complex problems in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.
- Bachelor’s degree or 8 or more years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
- Preferred: experience with KVM, VMware, or Proxmox virtualization; CI/CD pipelines; automated test development; server-side development; middleware; application or data integration; API development; and core application systems.
- Preferred: experience with client requirements, workflow automation, source-code development, and automated testing tools.
