Base Salary
$175k - $219k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect robust software engineering solutions and frameworks with cross-product impact.
- Build systems and tools for generative AI applications using the C3 AI Platform.
- Develop scalable end-to-end machine learning pipelines for distributed systems with heterogeneous hardware, including GPUs and TPUs.
- Research and implement efficient methods for training and fine-tuning generative models.
- Lead the long-term development of the C3 Generative AI Suite with product owners.
- Lead cross-team technical discussions covering application architecture, UI, UX, backend, third-party integrations, and testing.
- Manage project deliverables and mentor junior engineers on coding standards and design techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience in Python.
- Preferred experience with Java and JavaScript.
- Proven experience designing and developing full-stack web solutions for complex problems.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, profiling and optimization, DRY code, and object-oriented and functional programming.
- In-depth understanding of machine learning and deep learning algorithms, including applying machine learning in production systems.
- Demonstrated end-to-end project ownership and strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated interest in generative AI technologies such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, and ChatGPT Plugins.
- Advanced quantitative education and experience leading engineering teams or projects are preferred.
