Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Windows-based software applications for WaveLight and VARION medical device products using C# and C++.
- Collaborate with local and global engineering teams to deliver software solutions.
- Participate in software design, implementation, testing, debugging, and release activities throughout the product lifecycle.
- Work with Qt frameworks and contribute to software architecture discussions and technical improvements.
- Support software development in a regulated medical device environment while meeting quality and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 7 years of software development experience.
- Strong programming skills in C# and C++.
- Experience developing applications in a Windows-based environment.
- Experience with Qt is highly desirable.
- Experience in the medical device industry or another regulated environment is advantageous.
- Understanding of software development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and software release processes.
- Fluent English is required; German language skills are preferred.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
