Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and operate IaaS and PaaS infrastructure in AWS and Azure commercial and government clouds.
- Engineer and maintain deployment automation, scripting, deployment platforms, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Own the reliability of non-production and production delivery environments, including operational response and environment refresh or restore activities.
- Use Kubernetes for container orchestration and management with a focus on scalability, reliability, and high availability.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to support system performance and availability.
- Participate in an on-call rotation supporting software and cloud infrastructure.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- 8+ years of experience in automated cloud infrastructure and cloud computing platforms.
- Strong hands-on cloud engineering or DevOps experience with AWS or Azure, including production-grade application deployments.
- Strong hands-on Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience.
- Knowledge of networking and internet protocols.
- Experience with containers, orchestration, and serverless architectures in Azure environments.
- Familiarity with IDEs and source control tools such as GitHub or GitLab.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
- FedRAMP experience is preferred.
- Computer Science or object-oriented coding experience is preferred.
