Base Salary
$131k - $178k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as the product security point of contact for software and product development teams across data privacy, devices, cloud, APIs, and application security.
- Embed security and privacy into the software development lifecycle through architecture reviews, security requirements, secure coding practices, and automated security controls.
- Coach and mentor global product engineering and software operations teams on security tools, risk management, and balancing security with business needs.
- Contribute to the concept, design, deployment, and lifecycle management of global product engineering and software operations.
- Promote security architecture conventions for mobile applications, mobile SDKs, and connected products.
- Participate in solution assessments across concept, design, pre-deployment, post-deployment, and end-of-life stages, including possible ethical hacking testing.
- Specify requirements and validate operations for third-party-managed product installations globally.
- Contribute to threat modeling, monitoring, and incident response across mobile applications, APIs, cloud services, and connected devices.
- Monitor emerging security threats, attack vectors, mobile technologies, cloud computing technologies, embedded processing technologies, and related security controls.
- Participate in technology and security architecture reviews and advise global software and product development teams on control design.
- Travel approximately 15% as needed.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of mobile software development experience.
- At least 2–5 years as a security practitioner leading security strategy across multiple products.
- Strong technical product security experience delivering secure mobile applications, IoT products, and services globally using modern technologies.
- Working knowledge of product development, software development, cloud deployment, and cloud operations security.
- A college degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or equivalent education/experience.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing, collaboration, and learning agility skills.
- Related industry certifications are preferred.
- Experience delivering results in a diverse, global, and fast-paced environment is preferred.
