Base Salary
$194k - $212k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate software for a robust, deterministic, highly scalable flight training simulator.
- Work across the Instructor Operating Station, after-action review and debrief station, motion base, sound, image generator, control loading, and related simulator systems.
- Integrate external interfaces from internal and third-party suppliers.
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, pilots, and other stakeholders to improve a high-fidelity training device.
Requirements
- A university degree in computer science or computer engineering and 7+ years of industry experience, or an advanced degree and 5+ years of experience.
- Expert knowledge of object-oriented programming methodology and multi-layered system architectures.
- Expert knowledge of C++ and multi-threaded systems.
- Experience with modern integrated development environments and debuggers.
- Basic understanding of version control technologies and exposure to Python.
