Base Salary
$114k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure containerized software components for cloud environments.
- Implement and maintain Kubernetes or equivalent clusters, including networking, security, and observability.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with security gates and automated testing.
- Perform security assessments of containerized applications and cloud deployments and drive remediation.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code for repeatable and auditable deployments.
- Collaborate with software, systems, and security engineers on secure architectures and deployment patterns.
- Document designs, security controls, and operational procedures for cloud-deployed container platforms.
Requirements
- Level 3 requires 5 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, 3 years with a master’s degree, 1 year with a PhD, or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Level 4 requires 8 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, 6 years with a master’s degree, 4 years with a PhD, or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance and SCI access within a reasonable period of time.
- Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining containerized applications.
- Experience with container orchestration platforms and commercial, private, or on-premises cloud environments.
- Experience developing CI/CD scripts, administering Linux, and using shell scripting.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and an active Security+ certification.
- Preferred qualifications include space-program experience; Kubernetes security and hardening; infrastructure as code; security frameworks; SAST/DAST; supply-chain security; container runtime security; monitoring and observability; API gateways and service meshes; cloud IAM and networking; regulated or defense environments; and complex automated server configuration or code deployment processes.
