Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the enterprise AI architecture vision, roadmap, reference architecture, and platform blueprint.
- Define architectural standards, governance frameworks, integration patterns, reusable components, and decision criteria for AI platforms and solutions.
- Architect end-to-end AI ecosystems covering data pipelines, model development, deployment, observability, evaluation, lifecycle management, and enterprise integration.
- Own the Azure AI architecture for agents, RAG, model services, the LLM gateway, identity, observability, and cost controls.
- Define Dev/Test/Prod patterns, CI/CD practices, infrastructure-as-code standards, LLMOps/MLOps practices, security guardrails, and production-readiness criteria.
- Build hands-on reference implementations, templates, and reusable components to accelerate delivery by AI engineers and data scientists.
- Lead architecture reviews and build/buy/reuse decisions for internal and third-party AI solutions.
- Guide multiple teams and influence engineering, data science, product, cybersecurity, legal, compliance, IT, and senior business stakeholders.
- Design integrations between priority AI use cases and core enterprise systems so solutions can scale from pilot to production.
- Assess emerging AI capabilities, vendors, and frameworks and define adoption strategies balancing innovation, risk, scalability, interoperability, and sustainability.
- Mentor senior engineers, architects, data scientists, and technical leaders and serve as the escalation point for AI architecture.
Requirements
- A university degree, such as a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent relevant work experience is required.
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering, data, AI engineering, or enterprise architecture is required.
- Recent hands-on delivery of generative AI solutions and a proven record of shipping GenAI/LLM solutions such as agents, RAG, and copilots into enterprise production are required.
- Deep expertise in Azure, including Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Entra ID, and API Management, is required.
- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code such as Bicep or Terraform, and LLMOps/MLOps is required.
- Experience establishing architecture standards, design reviews, and reusable patterns adopted across multiple teams is required.
- Understanding of AI security, data governance, privacy, and responsible AI controls is required.
- Ability to influence senior business and technical leaders and translate business priorities into practical architecture decisions is required.
- Strong communication, presentation, organization, planning, time management, interpersonal, collaboration, accountability, ethics, and multitasking skills are required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is required.
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or supply chain environments is preferred.
- An advanced degree and/or Azure, architecture, or AI certifications are preferred.
