Base Salary
$44k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop software solutions for customers using Cisco Secure Development Lifecycle processes.
- Participate in coding, customer meetings, deliverable creation, lab building, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Build experience as a full-stack developer across Cisco technologies.
- Work with Software Architects, Delivery Engineers, Managers, customers, and Cisco Customer Experience leadership.
- Use automation, testing, linting, builds, deployment, and support practices in project delivery.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate associate or bachelor’s degree program in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, information technology, data science, mathematics, statistics, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
- Expected to continue enrollment in the degree program after completing the internship.
- Understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
- Development experience with Python, Java, Spring or Spring Boot, and JUnit tests.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.
- Experience with UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
- Preferred qualifications include Ansible experience, non-academic coding experience, strong communication and teamwork skills, curiosity, and relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Oracle, Red Hat Linux, or Java.
- Familiarity with AI tools is a plus but is not a primary requirement.
