Base Salary
$180k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build backend services and APIs for patient booking, clinician routing, logistics, and device integrations.
- Ship full-stack product features spanning data modeling, business logic, UI, and user flows when working full-stack.
- Solve scheduling, dispatch, safety-check, and error-prevention challenges at scale.
- Integrate reliably and securely with external health systems, telemedicine platforms, and medical devices.
- Collaborate with product, data, operations, and clinical teams to turn real-world problems into shipped software.
- Own projects from 0-to-1, make architectural decisions, and help evolve engineering practices.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and scaling backend or full-stack production systems.
- Experience designing APIs, data models, and services for user-facing products.
- Experience leading projects or pods from architecture and planning through delivery and iteration.
- Ability to ship features independently and with product, data, operations, or design partners.
- Experience making technical decisions that balance execution speed, scalability, and maintainability.
- Experience working in startups, high-growth teams, or 0-to-1 product environments.
- Preferred experience in health tech, logistics, or operationally complex products.
- Preferred understanding of forecasting, routing, scheduling, inventory management, data platforms, pipelines, or large-scale data processing.
- Preferred familiarity with regulated environments, HIPAA, security, and privacy best practices.
