Responsibilities
- Build and fine-tune LLMs/VLMs for parsing technical documents into subsystem constraints.
- Develop models to detect contradictions and suggest valid configurations.
- Contribute to the automated generation of system artifacts like interface tables and verification specs.
- Design and train reinforcement learning agents for multi-variable design spaces.
- Develop CNN-based topology optimizers to reduce mass in structural components.
- Integrate models into Zenith’s pipelines for design and manufacturing.
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure AI outputs align with engineering practices.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, ML/AI, Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with ML/AI through research, projects, or internships.
- Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks like PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow.
- Interest in vision-language models, reinforcement learning, or geometry/topology optimization.
- Exposure to structured engineering artifacts and familiarity with spacecraft concepts is preferred.
