Responsibilities
- Own manual and automated testing efforts across multiple product pods.
- Design, create, and maintain automated checks across unit, API, and UI testing levels.
- Prioritize checks for automation and collaborate with engineers on appropriate testing coverage.
- Test features and fixes while providing timely, actionable feedback.
- Develop solutions to complex testing problems and improve feedback loops.
- Maintain testing documentation and promote continuous learning and collaboration.
- Use AI tools to accelerate testing workflows and improve software quality.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve quality-related incidents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of experience testing web applications.
- At least 2 years of experience with JavaScript test automation frameworks.
- Proven experience writing code for automated checks or building testing tools.
- Strong understanding of web testing technologies and the software development lifecycle.
- Ability to work effectively in agile environments and adapt to changing requirements.
- Strong defect-finding, application-testing, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Experience optimizing production systems for performance, quality, and reliability is preferred.
