Base Salary
$164k - $238k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with data engineering and data science teams to enable reliable data pipelines and ML workflows.
- Support and optimize Databricks and Snowflake environments in production.
- Operate and support Databricks Jobs and Apache Airflow workflows.
- Monitor and optimize systems for performance and reliability.
- Implement data security and compliance processes in collaboration with security teams.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitOps practices.
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
- Deploy and operate services on Kubernetes clusters.
- Automate operational tasks using Ansible.
- Implement observability and monitoring for infrastructure.
- Participate in incident response and on-call rotations.
- Contribute to operational standards and documentation.
- Lead technical initiatives and mentor team members.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and Snowflake in production.
- Experience supporting data engineering and data science teams.
- Experience deploying Databricks Jobs and Apache Airflow workflows.
- Strong experience with Apache Spark.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Argo CD, Helm, and Kustomize.
- Strong experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins and GitOps tooling.
- Experience using Ansible for configuration management.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or similar languages.
- Strong Linux/Unix administration experience.
- Hands-on experience with observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and mentorship experience.
