Base Salary

$155k - $175k/yr

Responsibilities

Support the architecture and design of scalable AI solutions across multiple client projects.
Develop shared architectural patterns, reusable components, and design practices for experimental and production AI initiatives.
Evaluate client needs, system constraints, and cloud, on-premises, or hybrid environments to recommend secure AI designs.
Drive decisions involving data pipelines, model orchestration, API development, observability, and enterprise-system integration.
Apply traditional machine learning, generative AI, LLMs, embeddings, RAG, AI agents, tool use, function calling, and MCP-supported agentic workflows.
Review technical designs, contribute code and system architecture, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with delivery leads and client stakeholders.
Participate in technology evaluations and internal best-practice discussions.

At least 8 years of software engineering or AI/ML development experience, including at least 2 years in solution design or architecture roles.
Experience designing AI-powered solutions involving machine learning, data pipelines, or generative AI APIs.
Familiarity with enterprise architecture principles and production-oriented environments.
Hands-on experience with Python, AI/ML frameworks, and API development.
Exposure to generative AI frameworks and agent orchestration tools.
Understanding of Azure and AWS and containerized environments.
Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and translate technical requirements into business goals.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or Amazon Web Services certifications are highly desirable; advanced degrees and additional certifications are a plus.
