Base Salary
$155k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support the architecture and design of scalable AI solutions across multiple client projects.
- Develop shared architectural patterns, reusable components, and design practices for experimental and production AI initiatives.
- Evaluate client needs, system constraints, and cloud, on-premises, or hybrid environments to recommend secure AI designs.
- Drive decisions involving data pipelines, model orchestration, API development, observability, and enterprise-system integration.
- Apply traditional machine learning, generative AI, LLMs, embeddings, RAG, AI agents, tool use, function calling, and MCP-supported agentic workflows.
- Review technical designs, contribute code and system architecture, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with delivery leads and client stakeholders.
- Participate in technology evaluations and internal best-practice discussions.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of software engineering or AI/ML development experience, including at least 2 years in solution design or architecture roles.
- Experience designing AI-powered solutions involving machine learning, data pipelines, or generative AI APIs.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture principles and production-oriented environments.
- Hands-on experience with Python, AI/ML frameworks, and API development.
- Exposure to generative AI frameworks and agent orchestration tools.
- Understanding of Azure and AWS and containerized environments.
- Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and translate technical requirements into business goals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or Amazon Web Services certifications are highly desirable; advanced degrees and additional certifications are a plus.
