Responsibilities
- Analyze customer solution architectures and existing products to assess whether proposed solutions are pragmatic and realizable.
- Develop and validate proposed solutions and proof of concepts for the Solutions Lab.
- Contribute to and review TVDA, solution, and integration documentation.
- Help plan and execute train-the-trainer activities.
- Maintain, modify, and build solution installations for demonstrations in the CTO Lab.
- Demonstrate solutions to visiting customers and support experienced engineers in a lab environment.
- Develop knowledge of Schneider Electric product lines, industry trends, and energy-management solutions.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
- Strong presentation, communication, development, analytical, troubleshooting, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of or interest in alternative energy sources, power metering, demand response, and energy usage.
- Currently located and able to work in the greater Andover, Massachusetts area.
- Experience with intelligent building management systems, preferably using open protocols, is preferred.
- Experience applying building solutions to customer problems is preferred.
- Networking, IT ports and protocols, HTTP, HTTPS, and SSL experience is strongly desired.
- Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML, Windows-based PC hardware/software, and TCP/IP networking is preferred.
- Experience wiring or troubleshooting electronic devices, climbing ladders, and using power tools is preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
