Responsibilities

Architect and build authentication and authorization systems for OpenAI products.
Develop end-to-end authentication solutions for ChatGPT and API users.
Design the identity platform for consumer internet scale and address scalability issues.
Create tools to assist other engineers in integrating authentication into their products.
Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to align on identity solutions.

Experience or interest in Authentication, Authorization, Federation, and Identity Management.
Familiarity with protocols such as OAuth 2.0, SAML, SCIM, and OpenID Connect.
Industry experience with projects like Hydra or Auth0, and proficiency in Python or Golang.
Ability to own problems end-to-end and acquire necessary knowledge to complete tasks.
Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.
