Responsibilities
- Design and execute manual and automated test suites for cybersecurity features across control-plane and data-plane software.
- Partner with product lifecycle management, development, and cross-functional teams to define test cases, strategies, and release plans.
- Develop test automation using tools and frameworks, including AI-assisted testing where appropriate.
- Identify and implement improvements to system scalability and performance.
- Support reliable feature releases and validate enterprise connectivity, cloud, security, and networking functionality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or computer engineering.
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in automation and manual QA testing for large-scale cloud deployments.
- Experience with Kubernetes, virtual machines, Docker, and persistent multi-cluster databases.
- Programming or scripting experience with Java or Python and test technologies including Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Postman, REST Assured, TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, Cypress, and TypeScript.
- Experience with REST APIs, Open APIs, API authentication, and third-party tool and service integrations.
- Experience with automation tools, AI-based systems, Wireshark, Git, Jira, and intelligent IDEs.
- Preferred experience with cybersecurity concepts and tools and networking concepts including routing, Docker Networking, NAT/NPT, IPv6, and firewalls.
- Demonstrated customer-driven innovation and market-oriented product development experience.
