Base Salary

$220k - $270k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Architect and lead the development of large-scale systems for data pipelines and data lakes.
  • Design and implement solutions ensuring data availability, security, and scalability.
  • Make high-level architectural decisions about system design and technology choices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build tools and frameworks for analytics and product features.
  • Work with business stakeholders to build high-impact data products.
  • Collaborate with leadership to devise technical roadmaps.
  • Mentor engineers and foster a culture of collaboration and technical excellence.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in large-scale distributed computing systems.
  • 5+ years of experience managing live production environments with a focus on uptime.
  • Expert in SQL and proficient in technologies like Spark, Kafka, and Terraform.
  • Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT design patterns and data quality frameworks.
  • Ability to design scalable and secure data models and architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with modern data storage technologies.
  • Strategic thinker able to evaluate internal vs. third-party solutions.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator across diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
