Base Salary
$198k - $277k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own recurring maintenance for the internal AI platform, including dependency and model version management, continuous integration health, and release cuts.
- Build automated regression coverage for more than 30 production AI workflows and establish test suites for workflows currently verified manually.
- Monitor and remediate upstream data and schema drift across engineering, manufacturing, ERP, requirements-management, and data-warehouse systems.
- Implement machine-checkable guardrails for accuracy, safety, and data-handling requirements.
- Triage, disposition, and close user feedback while reporting backlog health, flow rates, and quality trends to senior leadership.
- Design, build, performance-test, validate, and release AI-assisted workflows for engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain users.
- Fine-tune AI models when necessary and provide technical guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to partner development teams.
- Contribute to AI strategy and roadmap planning and collaborate with engineers, technicians, and analysts to support data-driven decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of professional software development experience with significant production AI and machine-learning experience.
- Experience owning a production software product through its full sustaining lifecycle, including on-call or user-facing support.
- Experience building and operating production LLM-based or agentic applications, including prompt and context engineering, tool or function calling, enterprise-data retrieval, and evaluation of non-deterministic output.
- Deep understanding of AI/ML models, algorithms, and frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Proficiency with SQL, Python, and Power Query; VBA familiarity is a plus.
- Experience with Git-based development, code review, CI/CD pipelines, and REST or GraphQL integrations with enterprise systems.
- Experience integrating AI solutions into large-scale software systems and infrastructure.
- Experience analyzing large datasets and tracking hardware across a part’s lifecycle is a plus.
- Strong communication, judgment, organizational, project-management, collaboration, and deadline-management skills.
