Base Salary
$130k - $186k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the public and private cloud PaaS layer for internal product teams.
- Write maintainable software and infrastructure scripts using Python, Java, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.
- Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code, GitOps, CI/CD, and container deployment automation.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software and platform services in a DevOps operating model.
- Lead architectural design, code reviews, technical decisions, and delivery of complex software projects.
- Manage feature and project execution, including priorities, deadlines, and delivery quality.
- Automate testing and participate in the testing process using tools such as JUnit and Selenium.
- Monitor service health and telemetry, resolve incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Design and operate cloud networking capabilities including routing, traffic management, API gateways, service mesh, DNS, and secure service-to-service communication.
- Document features, enhancements, fixes, and training materials.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- Deep expertise in Python or Java development.
- At least 1 year of GitOps or DevOps experience, or experience building infrastructure-as-code pipelines or processes for large teams.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and public cloud deployment platforms.
- Experience designing and administering CI/CD pipelines.
- A proven record of leading and delivering large-scale, complex software projects.
- Proficiency with Azure, AWS, GCP, and GitHub.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: a master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: experience with GitHub Actions, Argo CD, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes operators, Kubernetes networking, service meshes, API gateways, edge routing, DNS architecture, traffic shaping, canary and blue/green deployments, TLS/mTLS, certificate lifecycle management, and observability.
