Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and oversee cloud security architecture across hardware, operating systems, cloud-native applications, data security, privacy, insider threats, and generative AI.
- Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with regulations and industry best practices.
- Conduct security risk assessments, security training, and vulnerability assessments to identify and address security gaps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls into cloud products and underlying infrastructure.
- Track emerging cloud security trends, technologies, and threats and provide guidance on security strategies and solutions.
Requirements
- Understand common security risks, attack and defense strategies, security architecture leadership, and risk governance.
- Understand cloud-native and infrastructure technologies including network access, LLMs, big data, storage, cloud computing, microservices, and zero trust.
- Be familiar with container security technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes and with serverless security practices.
- Be proficient in at least one of Golang, Python, Java, or Node.js, with the ability to perform code auditing, code reviews, and development.
- Know security frameworks and standards such as CIS Benchmarks, GDPR, and HIPAA.
- Preferred qualifications include major vulnerability discoveries, success in large-scale security competitions, participation in large-scale governance or architecture projects, knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and certifications such as CISSP, CISM, OSCP, or GIAC.
