Base Salary
$170k - $196k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build C++ system services for the Illumio Virtual Enforcement Node software agent.
- Develop lightweight micro-segmentation security capabilities using mechanisms in Unix, Windows, and macOS operating systems.
- Contribute to Virtual Enforcement Node features from concept and design through development.
- Use operating systems, networking, and system software expertise to create innovative security solutions.
- Help secure customers’ critical systems and applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent degree; a master’s degree is a plus.
- At least 5 years of experience building distributed and scalable software systems.
- Strong experience with software applications and application-level networking.
- Proficiency in C++.
- Experience with firewalling technologies such as iptables, nftables, or packet filter is a bonus.
- Familiarity with BPF/eBPF is a bonus.
- Creative thinking and authorization to work in the United States are required.
