Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver multiple significant software modules across concurrent projects.
- Participate in requirements, design, implementation, integration, customer acceptance, delivery, and support activities.
- Implement automated unit, integration, and feature testing, including test automation with measurable goals.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, integration, and technical work for complex assignments.
- Collaborate on product design, identify technical risks, evaluate alternative solutions, and participate in Scrum ceremonies.
- Contribute to development communities of practice and organizational initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering.
- Approximately 4–12 years of experience using Python and related Perl or Java technologies.
- Strong hands-on Python and AWS experience.
- Expertise in object-oriented analysis and design, design patterns, unit testing, and pytest-based TDD.
- Experience with AWS services including S3, SNS, SES, EC2, EKS, and ECS.
- Experience with Oracle Database, MongoDB, persistence frameworks, SQL, data structures, and multithreaded applications.
- Experience with GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
- Exposure to machine learning models using the Random Forest method.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, software development, testability, and automation skills.
- Preferred experience architecting large-scale highly available distributed software and working in life sciences or healthcare.
