Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver high-quality software releases.
- Interpret BRDs and PRDs, derive test scenarios, and prepare detailed test plans and cases.
- Automate tests for web, iOS, and Android applications using WebdriverIO, Selenium, and Appium.
- Validate frontend data against backend responses using API checks, JSON, logs, and debugging tools.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
- Execute tests on cloud platforms and generate reports using Allure or equivalent frameworks.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintain robust test suites.
- Identify defects and risks, support timely resolution, and contribute to QA strategy, automation design, and tooling improvements.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies, release testing, documentation, and collaboration with QA peers.
- Use MCP tools where applicable for assisted test creation and self-healing automation.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in web and mobile automation testing.
- Strong experience with WebdriverIO, Selenium, Appium, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience testing iOS and Android applications through manual and automated testing.
- Experience with LambdaTest, BrowserStack, or SauceLabs.
- Experience with Allure or comparable test-reporting frameworks.
- Ability to debug using DevTools, ADB, Xcode tools, APIs, and logs.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical, debugging, communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred: MCP experience, performance/load/security testing exposure, modern frontend framework familiarity, API or end-to-end automation, Jira, TestRail, Agile/Scrum, and Java, C#, TypeScript, or OOP experience.
