Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering, product, UX, and data science teams to design and develop software solutions.
- Develop code for web applications, APIs, services, product integrations, and internal engineering tools.
- Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to prototype, document, test, and improve code with human validation.
- Participate in code reviews focused on readability, reliability, security, accessibility, and maintainability.
- Assist with troubleshooting, testing, observability improvements, and defect resolution.
- Contribute to workflow automation, tool orchestration, evaluation harnesses, telemetry, and reusable platform components for AI-enabled products.
- Document software designs, technical decisions, experiment results, and development processes.
Requirements
- Be a currently enrolled student pursuing a degree in computer science, engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrate programming fundamentals in Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Be familiar with Git, testing practices, APIs, cloud concepts, software development methodologies, and collaborative development tools.
- Demonstrate awareness of generative AI, large language models, prompt patterns, model limitations, and responsible AI practices.
- Demonstrate problem-solving, critical-thinking, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Be detail-oriented and able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Show interest in learning, experimentation, and current software engineering and AI-enabled development trends.
