Base Salary
$40k - $60k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend services using Node.js, Python, or similar technologies.
- Design and implement business-critical subscription, billing, and payment systems.
- Integrate third-party payment systems such as Stripe and PayPal.
- Design scalable APIs and backend architectures.
- Collaborate with product and front-end teams to ship features quickly.
- Apply modular design and abstraction to improve maintainability.
- Use AI tools and AI agents to build automation workflows and improve engineering productivity.
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and user experience.
Requirements
- 3–8 years of backend engineering experience.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language: Node.js, Python, or Go.
- Hands-on experience integrating payment systems such as Stripe.
- Strong understanding of API design and web architectures.
- Experience with microservices or modular system design.
- Strong ownership and ability to deliver end-to-end features.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT and Copilot in development workflows.
- Good English communication skills.
- Nice-to-have experience includes platform engineering or DevOps, Kubernetes, AI-agent automation workflows, subscription or billing systems, B2B products, and building systems from 0 to 1.
