Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, and AWS.
- Lead complex feature implementation from design through production.
- Modernize platform components and improve scalability, reliability, security, performance, observability, and operational excellence.
- Design and implement robust APIs and distributed services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
- Participate in architecture discussions and influence technical direction.
- Review code and promote engineering best practices and quality standards.
- Mentor engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with Product Management, QA, Customer Care, and DevOps.
- Contribute across requirements refinement, deployment, and production support.
- Own significant technical areas of the LoadNinja platform and drive technical initiatives with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Extensive experience building modern web applications with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Strong experience with React and Node.js.
- Experience designing scalable SaaS applications.
- Strong experience with AWS cloud services, including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EC2, S3, CloudFront, Cognito, Step Functions, and VPC.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and distributed systems.
- Experience with Docker and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, and engineering best practices.
- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience leading technical initiatives, mentoring engineers, and performing constructive code reviews.
- Preferred experience with browser automation, performance testing, Kubernetes, container orchestration, observability tools, developer tools, testing platforms, frontend build tooling, and performance optimization.
