Responsibilities

  • Build and support a cloud-native engineering tooling environment on Azure.
  • Lead migration from legacy and on-premises tooling to Azure-based solutions while maintaining service continuity.
  • Deploy and support tools for CI/CD, artifact management, code quality, and licensing.
  • Build or modify deployment solutions using Infrastructure as Code and automation.
  • Automate processes and provide scripts and tools for provisioning compute, network, and storage resources.
  • Maintain existing environments and implement monitoring, backups, archives, and log management.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Product Owner and other stakeholders to plan and deliver improvements.
  • Coach junior team members and promote deployment, automation, and operational best practices.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with modern DevOps and platform engineering technologies.
  • Experience with Linux administration and scripting, Kubernetes, Docker, JFrog Platform, GitLab, Ansible, Python, virtual machines, and cloud infrastructure concepts.
  • Experience with CI/CD and pipeline design.
  • Experience with Atlassian Suite, Siemens Polarion, FlexLM License Server, Black Duck SCA, Coverity, SonarQube, or Jenkins is advantageous.
  • Must be a UK national and able to achieve and maintain Security Clearance at SC level without caveats.
  • Generally requires five years of UK residence for full SC eligibility, although three years may be accepted in some circumstances with additional overseas checks.
