Responsibilities
- Review requirements and provide feedback on technical design documents.
- Create and maintain automated test cases in Java and Python.
- Build and share proof of concepts for test automation proposals.
- Develop solutions to lead the automation development strategy.
- Communicate and align automation strategy with engineering teams.
- Understand customer use cases to create relevant test scenarios.
- Engage with engineers to enhance framework support for end-to-end tests.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in the software industry, preferably as an SDET.
- Strong knowledge of OOP concepts in Python and Java.
- Deep understanding of database internals.
- Experience improving existing test automation frameworks.
- Expertise in developing various levels of automated tests.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Buildkite or Jenkins.
- Hands-on experience with cloud technologies and containerization.
- Knowledge of database testing and ETL software testing is a plus.
