Base Salary
$267k - $297k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build production machine learning and backend systems that support durable business growth.
- Own an AI product or business vertical end to end, including direction, product development, and business metrics.
- Identify high-leverage opportunities and make strategic and technical decisions in an ambiguous startup-like environment.
- Build trusted relationships with important customers and use customer needs to shape the product roadmap.
- Build the team and raise the engineering bar as the business scales.
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- At least 7 years of experience building and shipping ML-powered products.
- Demonstrated ownership of both technology and business results for a significant product area.
- Proven history of measurable business growth through revenue, adoption, or market expansion.
- Deep expertise in machine learning systems and backend distributed systems, including production-scale systems.
- Strong ability to identify high-impact opportunities and drive them to business results.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills for aligning customers, product teams, and business leadership.
- Preferred: experience scaling a product or business line from an early stage while owning revenue and growth.
- Preferred: ownership of an applied AI product domain such as real-world data, agentic environments, evaluation, multimodal ML, or multilingual ML.
- Preferred: production-scale GenAI and LLM expertise across architecture, evaluation, safety, and responsible deployment.
- Preferred: expertise in physical AI data, agentic reinforcement-learning environments, multilingual or audio systems, robotics, or egocentric data.
