Responsibilities
- Own software solutions deployed to customers.
- Write code to improve products and scale mission capabilities.
- Collaborate across teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality.
- Create and analyze metrics for debugging and monitoring.
- Triage issues, determine root causes, and coordinate next steps.
- Partner with end-users to translate needs into features while balancing user experience and engineering constraints.
- Build, test, and deploy capabilities in real-world environments, traveling up to 30% of the time.
Requirements
- Have a strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
- Have 3+ years of experience working with a variety of programming languages.
- Have experience building software involving significant data processing and analysis.
- Be able to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established codebases.
- Be motivated to work on critical software with real-world impact.
- Be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include physics, mathematics, or motion-planning expertise; multi-agent autonomous-systems development and testing; modeling and simulation; behavior trees; flight systems and safety-critical functionality; distributed communication networks and message standards; and military systems or operational tactics knowledge.
