Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the technical architecture and roadmap for edge, cloud, and hybrid perception platforms.
- Design and integrate multimodal perception systems using cameras, LiDAR, UWB, audio, and related technologies for embedded and ground-based use cases.
- Unify data-science solutions into a scalable perception platform.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and multiple workstreams across edge, cloud, and algorithm development.
- Guide the development and validation of computer-vision and sensor-fusion algorithms, including real-time inference and multimodal data processing.
- Promote reusable software components and practices that improve development efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and certification requirements for safety-critical functions.
- Monitor technology and regulatory developments and anticipate market trends.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or PhD in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of proven experience in technical leadership, systems architecture, or complex program management, ideally in railway, automotive, or industrial AI.
- Demonstrated expertise with edge and cloud platforms, including Azure, ADAP, containerization, and device management.
- Strong knowledge of computer-vision and sensor-fusion algorithms, real-time inference, and multimodal data processing.
- Knowledge of data-engineering processes, machine learning operations, and software production deployment.
- Experience designing safety-critical systems and supporting their certification.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, collaboration, and stakeholder-communication skills.
- Fluency in English; French is an advantage.
- Experience with project management, risk assessment, and budget planning is a plus.
