Responsibilities
- Apply and integrate generative modeling techniques into production systems.
- Own components across the ML pipeline, including data preprocessing, evaluation, and deployment.
- Build harnesses and integrate models into production workflows.
- Ship clean, well-tested, and maintainable code as a hands-on individual contributor.
- Debug and improve system performance through production troubleshooting and code reviews.
- Develop systems spanning NLP, language modeling, decoding, classification, agentic systems, multi-agent systems, and RAG architectures.
- Evaluate ML, LLM, and agent-based systems using metrics, scoring methods, and trajectory or outcome analysis.
- Build, maintain, and operate reliable, scalable, and safe production AI agents.
- Support systems that are culturally and linguistically adaptable across international markets.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on machine learning experience building harnesses and integrating models into production workflows.
- Strong programming experience with Python and one or more of C, C++, Objective-C, or Swift.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including operating systems fundamentals and object-oriented programming.
- Demonstrated hands-on individual-contributor coding experience shipping clean, well-tested, maintainable code.
- Practical experience using Claude, Cursor, and Codex for generative-AI coding.
- Strong debugging, systems-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Applied experience with NLP, including tokenization, language modeling, decoding, and classification.
- Applied experience with modern agentic and multi-agent systems and RAG architectures.
- Preferred experience staging, provisioning, or controlling test and evaluation environments under repeatable, deterministic conditions.
- Preferred familiarity with ML, LLM, or agent evaluation metrics and scoring methodologies.
- Preferred experience with production-grade AI agents at scale.
- Preferred exposure to PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Preferred background in developer tools, internal platforms, or productivity engineering.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally, share knowledge, elevate quality, and maintain attention to detail.
