Base Salary
$122k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using TypeScript, Node.js, and modern front-end frameworks.
- Build APIs, services, and user interfaces supporting critical business workflows.
- Design and evolve relational and NoSQL database schemas and optimize application performance and reliability.
- Own complex features and projects from requirements through deployment and post-release support.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on technical requirements, estimates, and scheduled delivery.
- Monitor production systems and troubleshoot issues.
- Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and participate in code reviews.
- Support CI/CD processes and deployment automation initiatives.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, architecture diagrams, and API documentation.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Design, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams.
- Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to less experienced engineers.
Requirements
- Ability to lawfully access information and technology subject to U.S. export controls.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
- 5–8 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
- Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL database design and data modeling.
- Experience building scalable, maintainable, production-ready software systems and delivering features through the full development lifecycle.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred experience includes manufacturing, industrial automation, aerospace, automotive, robotics, or defense environments.
- Preferred qualifications include cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, code quality tools, Docker, Kubernetes, third-party API integrations, enterprise systems, and mentoring or technical guidance.
