Responsibilities
- Develop basic application code using front-end or back-end programming languages for internal and external client software solutions.
- Analyze, design, code, debug, maintain, test, implement, and validate applications throughout the software development life cycle.
- Assist with application documentation, testing, validation, corrective measures, and routine code changes.
- Maintain programming documentation and recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards.
- Develop application implementation plans and create appropriate project deliverables.
- Apply procedures, methodologies, application standards, and Payment Card Industry security compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- No prior experience is required.
- Basic knowledge of and use of two or more modern programming languages, APIs, external services, and relational and NoSQL databases.
- Preferred professional experience in coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data.
- Basic familiarity with Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, CentOS/RHEL, or Amazon Linux, and Microsoft Windows.
- Familiarity with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or MS SQL Server.
- Knowledge of back-end technologies including Kotlin, Java, Python, or .NET; front-end technologies including HTML, JavaScript, or jQuery; and web frameworks such as Node.js, React.js, Angular, or Redux.
- Familiarity with development tools including Android Studio, Eclipse, Visual Studio, Webpack, Babel, or Gulp, and mobile development for Android or iOS.
