Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain PostgreSQL data models for marine applications and analytical products.
- Design, build, and maintain APIs for vessel data, models, and related services.
- Create and maintain digital vessel models using onboard and third-party data.
- Develop data products including predictive maintenance models, KPIs, and operational insights.
- Build visualizations and internal tools using Streamlit or similar technologies.
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, and development colleagues in a sprint-based environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least three years of relevant experience in software development, data engineering, or data science.
- Advanced experience with Python, PostgreSQL, and relational data modeling.
- Experience developing APIs and deploying data visualizations or internal applications.
- Experience with data science tools such as PyTorch, CUDA, or scikit-learn.
- Professional proficiency in English and experience developing in Linux environments.
- Preferred qualifications include Kubernetes, containers, cloud-based data platforms, Rust or another systems programming language, operational or time-series data, predictive maintenance, performance optimization, condition monitoring, maritime systems, industrial applications, and AI-assisted development tools.
